Developed by marine biologists in Kiel

We have been researching active substances from the sea in the Kiel Fjord for over 20 years – and actively support marine conservation.

Algae extract from our own production

We produce the highly effective algae extract for our care products ourselves in Kiel using a patented, gentle process.

That is why Oceanwell has been supporting projects that actively promote marine conservation since 2015 with its ‘Protect the Ocean’ initiative. These include the protection of sea turtles in West Africa and the recovery of ghost nets in the Baltic Sea.

We are Oceanwell

We are northern lights, marine biologists, beauticians... and we are passionate about the sea! We started researching sustainable aquaculture 20 years ago - and developed the first algae farm in Germany. Then we discovered the huge potential of algae for natural cosmetics. We use the treasures from the sea carefully and respectfully. This is why we pay attention to sustainable ingredients and organic algae for our natural cosmetics. With the Oceanwell initiative “Protect the Ocean”, we also support marine conservation projects, e.g. the recovery of ghost nets in the Baltic Sea.
