(Soluble Collagen) Original collagen isolated from Pacific "root-mouth" jellyfish (Rhopilema spec.). Forms a moisture-binding nano-fleece on the skin. The individual collagen strands (triple helix) contain multiple connected sugar molecules, which in turn bind a great deal of moisture. Therefore, compared to other collagens, oceanic collagen has a much higher water uptake and binding capacity. The moisture introduced by the formulation is held in the skin by the collagen protection film. In addition, the protective film keeps the cells vital and helps the skin to maintain its resistance to environmental influences.
