(Palmaria Palmata Extract) The extract of the red algae Palmaria palmata protects from light stress by its special amino acids. Additionally it stimulates the oxygenation of the skin and protects at the same time against oxygen radicals. The antioxidant enzymes of the algae complement the action against free radicals. By stimulating the formation of cell matrix proteins, the cell layers of the skin are sustainably strengthened. The strength of the effect is comparable to that of hydrocortisone, but without the unwanted side effects.
